All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live and what they lived, we dream. ------T.K. Whipple, Study Out The Land

We horse people are backward-looking and we cling to the obsolete animal we love and an ancient technology. - Dr. Robert M. Miller

This picture was taken in the scenic Black Hills in South Dakota. It is always great to get away for awhile and great coming back home too!!!

Horses are our lifelong passion. Our horses are used for cattle work as well as trail riding. We own a commercial cowherd and farm/ranch along the Big Sioux River. We're located in northwest Iowa just 20 miles from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Our foals learn about climbing hills and crossing creeks at an early age.
